“Do what you can do, from where you are, with what you have.”

I know it has been an emotional week for many given the recent election in the USA. I have read a number of accounts from people voicing their opinions, protesting, as well as trying to make peace with the results and themselves.

Ultimately we can’t change what happened, we can only move forward.

So, rather than add too much to the many messages and opinions being given I have just one thought to pass on, which resonated with me and can also have a positive effect on yours and the collective wellbeing.

Which refers to taking action, in a positive, compassionate and loving way. This may be physically helping out those more in need than you; volunteering or raising money for a cause you believe in; or perhaps it’s as simple as giving more love and compassion to yourself and others in your life.

No matter how big or small, whatever you feel called to do – do it.
